Mark your calendars; it's that time of year again! The CAC is happy to announce its 4th annual Blue Jean Ball coming to Pittsburg on April 28th, 2023, featuring: dinner, music, silent and live auctions, and raffles! Join us, and help raise money to go towards reducing the traumatic effects of abuse on kids in Crawford and Cherokee Counties!
We're not fancy, and we don't expect you to be, either! Put on your best blue jeans and come on out to the Carbon Creek Events & Venue for beverages and BBQ! While you're at it, bid on some great items and support the Children's Advocacy Center (who says you have to dress up to have fun and do good things?). C'mon out and bring friends!
Doors open at 6; dinner served at 7!

9th Annual Rigatoni Dinner

Our 9th Annual Rigatoni Dinner helped the CAC raise $2,317 for the Children's Advocacy Center. We are grateful to everyone who came to the event, volunteered their time, or donated. A special thanks to Marrone's, Inc. for their donation of the fabulous food and to Chef Paul Mendicki for cooking!
Watco - Game Day Non-Profit

Thanks to Watco Companies, the CAC received $801 in donations from Pitt State Gorilla fans during the PSU vs Emporia game on October 22. With a little help from PSU's Global Leadership Institute student volunteers (pictured with Executive Director Tabitha Reavis), the CAC also distributed 200 fliers to game-day attendees to help raise awareness.

Bill Coleman Memorial Golf Tournament

Despite storms the night before our golf tournament, the day turned out to be a beautiful one for golf. We owe our sponsors, volunteers, Board members, and Four Oaks Golf Course a tremendous amount of gratitude for helping us pull of our 13th Annual Bill Coleman Memorial Golf Tournament.
Child Abuse Prevention Month Kick-Off Event

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. The CAC hosted a kick-off event with members of our Board, Multidisciplinary Team, and guests to honor the month, kick off Go Blue, SEK! (our online awareness campaign), and plant our Pinwheels for Prevention garden.
